This
portion of tdludwig.net contains samples of work products I created over
the past three years. Most of the samples were completed during my tenure
as Purchasing administrator and, later, manager of non-I.T. procurement
at a major financial institution in the New York area.
The
scope of responsibilities during my employment was substantially project-related.
My efforts were concerned with the organization of data or information,
evaluating current and potential processes, and proposing
workflow and procedural improvements (see
my résumé).
I
am now seeking opportunities to put my experience to work on a consultative/project
basis for organizations needing editorial or administrative services such
as those featured in these samples. I welcome the chance to provide more
details on any of these samples or to discuss in more detail ways how
my experience might help your organization achieve increased effectiveness.

These
capabilities samples are divided into four basic types:
tools
and documents designed to improve daily operational functionality
written proposals, memoranda, and web content
performance measurement, evaluation, and enhancement
analysis of data, information, or procedures
Confidentiality
Virtually all of these work product samples contain internal information
regarding the decisions and policies of my former employer and current
clients. Most of this data can be considered proprietary. Accordingly,
I have reformatted the original documents to remove all references to
my employer and clients, their subsidiaries, my colleagues and staff,
office locations, vendors, equipment platforms, spends, pricing, and other
data. Instead, specific names have been replaced with generic designations
such as "Location 1", "Company A", "E.D.",
and so forth. While recognizing that this policy may result in a slightly
more cumbersome read, it is nonetheless necessary to uphold my responsibility
to preserve the confidentiality of my former employer and current clients.
